What kind of marketing support do you offer?

I offer a wide range of support, from strategic planning down to rolling up my sleeves and executing specific projects. I can assist with creating a realistic, step-by-step marketing plan, or help with hands-on tasks like writing compelling website articles, managing your presence on professional platforms like LinkedIn, running engaging email campaigns, end to end event management or event just preparing materials for a trade show.

I also take on one-off projects, such as website refreshes or comprehensive strategy planning sessions, if you don't require ongoing support. My main goal is to help small business owners, who are already juggling many roles, get their marketing tasks done.

What is your professional background and industry experience?

Over my career, I have gained valuable, hands-on experience working across a broad range of sectors, including: cultural and heritage, visitor attractions, recruitment, fiduciary, yacht management, cruise and travel, FMCG, out-of-home food and beverage, and wines and spirits.

This depth of experience means I can quickly understand the unique challenges and opportunities within your specific market.

How does the payment and pricing structure work?

My pricing model is honest, transparent and designed for flexibility. I offer a straightforward pay-as-you-go solution. You only pay for the work I actually deliver, by the hour. My current rate is £60 per hour. Invoices are sent out on the last Friday of every month, and payment is due 14 days from the invoice date. Are there any contracts, retainers, or hidden costs?

Absolutely not. My core values are honesty and flexibility. There is no retainer, no minimum or maximum monthly commitment and no hidden, unnecessary extras. You receive flexible, impactful marketing support precisely when you need it.

What if I need to pause for a month?

Life - and business - happens. Whether it’s a shift in strategy or a temporary cash flow crunch, you have total control here. Because there are no retainers and no minimum monthly commitments, you can pause your marketing support at any time. There’s no "cancellation fee" or fine print to worry about. We simply pick back up exactly where we left off whenever you’re ready.

How do you approach a new marketing project?

I believe that marketing doesn't have to be a daunting, all-or-nothing task. The key is a simple, manageable, step-by-step approach. Together, we will create a realistic marketing plan tailored to your business, whether you need continuous ongoing support or focused help with a specific, time-bound project.

How do we manage our communication and catch-ups?

For ongoing projects, I offer fortnightly catch-ups. These can be conducted either face-to-face or via a video call, depending on what is most convenient and effective for you. This ensures we stay aligned on progress and priorities.

I feel overwhelmed. Can you just be a sounding board?

Yes, of course. I offer small business owners a chance to use me as a sounding board with no pressure or big commitment. We can simply talk through your current situation, discuss your pain points, and explore your initial ideas for the future to give you clarity on your next steps.
